The **view range** (decision 74; revit-parity: View Range) is three viewtype facts — `top` / `bottom` / `depth`, lengths relative to the level, defaulted by the query (top = the level's top, bottom = the level, depth = bottom) — and what a plan shows is classified against it: cut / above / beyond / not drawn, computed per element, never authored; openings follow their host. Inverted relationships (bottom above cut, top below cut, depth above bottom) are errors with the fix written out, not a dialog. The annotation body is reserved; `rcp` / `section` / `elevation` are reserved kinds. **Placement:** the query's target — `of level.L1` for a plan; `at grid.B to grid.A` for a section or elevation, with an axis word when no grid in the stations implies it.
